I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember & professionally for about 5 years

which has been amazing to be in a world surrounded with beauty, empowerment and new friendships.

It’s what makes my heart beat hardest — empowering women & seeing how much they can truly love themselves.

I’ve built my business around empowering women & helping them see how beautiful their bodies are no matter where they are in life.

 

I can’t even begin to describe how much I love helping women take back their power. I’ve been at rock bottom and I understand the feeling of never being good enough, pretty enough, smart enough — that’s why I made it my job to remind women how worthy they are.

I’ll go first, this is who I am —

  • He’s everyone's best friend and my forever cuddle buddy. We met at our least favorite restaurant in town (weird, I know). He's one of those people that is just good at everything and is genuinely the best person I know. He's a disc golfer, a non-stop talker, sports enthusiast and a whole lot of other rad things. But most importantly he's a huge part of me and my life.

  • If you haven't already noticed, I'm obsessed with my boy and this is why. Eivin (pronounced like Ivan). Eivin is the newest member of the gang and he fits in great. My whole world revolves around his little world.

  • My hobbies include cruising' down the Mississippi River, slowly killing all my house plants, changing my home decor once a month, being with the pups and of course being with the humans I love.

    Also, I think it may be good to note that I pose naked and in lingerie a lot. Why? Because I love feeling empowered, sexy, in control of my body and I love to see myself in a new light. I love me and I want you to love you.

  • But even after all of that, what I care about most are the simple things. Spending time laughing with my family, running errands together, hiding behind doors to jump out and scare people, sitting on the back deck on a cool summer night and just being. This is the type of stuff I live for, because this is real shit. This is what life looks like. It's not like the movies. It's so much better than that.

I want to tell your story…

The beautiful, raw, messy, imperfect story — so that one day you can hold this photograph in your wrinkled hands & say: 

“That’s me — that’s the day I got brave, did something for me, lived in the moment & made peace with myself. That is the day something within me changed!”

Because after all is said and done, what’s important is that you come out of this experience loving yourself more.

No human is illegal.

Love is love.

Women’s rights are human rights.

Kindness is everything.

I will not tolerate intolerance. This is not political. It’s basic human rights. I’m not for everyone and I am perfectly okay with that.

We celebrate women’s freedoms and their bodies everyday in the studio and that is BEAUTIFUL. I’m able to do what I do because of all of people who have marched before me and I don’t take that lightly.
